How long does James Hardie siding last?
James Hardie fiber cement carries a 30-year non-prorated warranty against manufacturing defects, and ColorPlus finishes carry a 15-year finish warranty that prorates after year two. It resists rot, pests, moisture, and fire.
Can siding be replaced at the same time as a roof?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper and cleaner to bundle them. One project manager, one mobilization, one set of dumpsters, and a single warranty packet at the end.
